The Hotel Post is installing an innovative heat pump that utilises the waste heat from hotel operations to heat water in an environmentally friendly way. This sustainable solution optimises energy consumption and helps to reduce the environmental impact.
Sustainable shower experience thanks to water-saving shower heads
Sustainable shower experience: water-saving shower heads at the Hotel Post. Thanks to the innovative technology from GREENJET, our guests can enjoy the showering pleasure they are used to with reduced water consumption. GREENJET surrounds the water with air and thus ensures lower consumption with the same showering pleasure. In this way, we not only protect the environment, but also your resources.
Environmentally friendly energy generation through photovoltaic system
We invested in a high-performance photovoltaic system with a capacity of 42 kW. This measure not only enables the sustainable use of renewable energy sources, but also helps to reduce energy costs and environmental impact by generating clean electricity

We installed a solar heating system for hot water. This environmentally friendly solution not only helps to reduce CO2 emissions, but also enables the efficient use of renewable energy sources.
Conversion to biomass heating
In 2005, the Hotel Post made a pioneering switch from fossil fuel heating to sustainable wood chip biomass heating. This measure marks an important step towards environmentally friendly energy generation and helps to reduce CO2 emissions.
