Hotel Post history

A jouney through the Lech Valley era

The Gasthof zur Post in Bach is much more than just a traditional inn - it is a living piece of history, rooted in the old traditions of Tyrolean life. Since its foundation in 1749 as the Gasthaus zur Traube and later as the Gasthof zur Post in the 18th century, it has not only been a post office, but also an important meeting place for people in the neighbourhood.

The romance of past stagecoach jouneys through the idyllic Lech Valley can still be felt here. Traditional dishes with regional ingredients and international specialities are prepared in the inns's kitchen. Typical Tyrolean hospitality, which has always been cultivated in this historic house, always takes centre stage.
